After completing his secondary education, Max pursued his academic interests at the University of Malta, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminology. His academic journey sparked a deep interest in the intersections of criminology, cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology. His thesis titled: ‘Expert views regarding the potential for cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies in facilitating and deterring money laundering,’ reflects the areas he has continued to explore throughout his career.

Max began his professional journey at MK Fintech Partners Ltd as a Legal Assistant. During this time, he gained valuable insights into the legal aspects of the fintech industry and authored several topical articles on cryptocurrency, MiCA, money laundering, and NFTs. 

Transitioning into the role of Business Development Officer and Analyst, Max has been instrumental in driving our growth. He has generated leads, formed strategic partnerships, and conducted in-depth market research to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities. His efforts in maintaining and strengthening client relationships have ensured ongoing satisfaction and fostered growth.

Max has also led our marketing initiatives, creating and publishing weekly mailshots, optimizing our website, crafting engaging LinkedIn posts, and analysing marketing data to drive informed decisions. His diverse background and international education have equipped him with a critical, multidisciplinary perspective that enhances our team’s strategic capabilities.
